In september 18th 1946 near a nice little city called Hugoton/Kansas, a talented boy named Billy Eugene Burrows was born.

His father, William Burrows, a blues harmonica player, was a direct decentant of both American Chiricahua Indian (Apache) and British Royalty (his ancestral line includes Mary Lathrup, heir to English throne thruogh Stuarts, who was hung for her outspoken religious views), while his mother, Gladys Burrows, was a Gypsy from a place called Bohemia (a historical region and former kingdom of West Czechoslovakia).

Billy had take on the family name of Drago (his mother‘s maiden name) because another actor in the Screen Actors Guild Union had the last name Burrows.

Before starting his career as actor, Billy used to work as a stuntman in a West theme park in Dodge City. Later, he took part in some plays in college (University of Kansas) where he was educated. An expert at several sports such as swimming, horseback riding, baseball, boxing and tennis, he soon became collegiate state champion an the courts of Kansas. It is not difficult to notice his strengh during many action scenes. In order to enhance his natural talent, he used to watch several movies a week („the last picture show“ was his favorite) and read almost every book in a small public library. That‘s what fed his creative side and led him to a successful as a radio host. Turning decsively to acting and joining a theatrical company, Billy was taken to Canada and some of the most remote places as Hudson Bay (40miles of Arctic Cicle).

He eventually landed in New York City, where he became a writer and a performance artist accumulating credits on stage. Known as Hollywood‘s Baddest Bad Guy, Billy has starred many feature films and maybe best known for his brilliant performances as „Frank Nitti“ in The Untouchables ,„Ramon Cota“ in Delta Force 2, „Hank Fulton“ in Gun Crazy and „John Bly“ on the TV series The Adventure of Brisco County jr., to name just a few.Together with his wife, actress Silvana Gallardo, he has created, adapted and developed „The Acting Class“, a fine acting technique (available on video, produced and directed by them both).

Billy Drago in our meaning is one of the most talented actors of or time, even though he mostly gets roles in movies, ppl just dont know.
